Mind to Change

Practice and Ethics

Practice

I work from my home where I have a dedicated, soundproof therapy room, with an independent entrance. All client work is completely confidential. I receive regular supervision from a qualified professional supervisor. This is for both my clients' and my own protection and ensures a completely professional service. I do not reveal my clients' identity to my supervisor. I am committed to my own continuing self-development.

There are no hard and fast rules as to the number of sessions a client may have, although with coaching it is usual to contract for six sessions. Ending the therapeutic relationship is, except in exceptional circumstances, the client's decision.

Ethics

I am a Registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy, an Accredited Member of the National Council for Hypnotherapy and also belong to the Coaching Academy. I work to a prescribed Codes of Ethics and Practice for Counsellors and Hypnotherapists and I am happy to supply clients with a copy of this when they attend for their first session.
